The National Consumer Law Center advanced consumer justice in many ways in 2025. In addition to direct advocacy on behalf of low-income consumers, we provided training to the consumer law community through in-person conferences, webinars, digital articles and publications, online resources, and in the media. Here’s a look at NCLC in numbers in 2025.

Number of attorneys and advocates for low-income households/consumers trained: 9,276
In-person NCLC/NACA conferences: 3
- Consumer Rights Litigation Conference and Class Action Symposium – 1004 attendees Washington, D.C. (up from 887 in 2024)
- Spring Training – 312, Long Beach, Calif.
- Mortgage Conference – 138, Los Angeles
In-person conference attendees at NCLC/NACA conferences: 1,454 (up from 1,233 in 2024)
NCLC advocates participated in 83 on-site and virtual trainings during 2025.
Awards given for outstanding achievements in the consumer law community:
- Len Bennett received the Vern Countryman award, consumer law’s highest honor.
- Erin Witte and Duran Keller earned Rising Star awards.
