As groups dedicated to promoting the well-being of children and families and advancing social, racial, gender, disability, worker and economic justice, we write to express our strong support for the Tax Filing Simplification Act (TFSA) of 2022. This legislation would require the Department of Treasury to implement meaningful reforms that would greatly simplify the process by which families file their tax returns.
