This class action complaint seeks relief for California borrowers against predatory mortgage lender Unison Agreement Corp. and its affiliates. The case asserts that the defendants dupe elderly and other unsuspecting homeowners into their so-called “shared equity option” products which are, in fact, usurious and unconscionable mortgage loans that illegally strip home equity from them in violation of California consumer protection laws.
