NCLC provided comments generally supporting Nacha’s proposed amended rules and included suggestions for further strengthening those rules. Nacha (formerly the National Automated Clearinghouse Association) establishes rules for the ACH system. Nacha’s proposed amended rules seek to help prevent fraud, reduce the incidence of fraud, and increase the likelihood of recovery of funds after the occurrence of fraud.
