Jennifer Wagner

Senior Attorney

Jennifer Wagner is a senior attorney and member of the National Consumer Law Center’s (NCLC) litigation team. As a senior attorney, she litigates class actions and impact cases to advance consumer rights across the country. 

Jennifer also is a contributing editor to the NCLC Consumer Class Actions, Fair Credit Reporting, and Unfair and Deceptive Acts and Practices treatises. 

Before joining NCLC, Jennifer directed a nationwide network of state-based legal advocacy organizations, and earlier, she was the executive director of Mountain State Justice, a statewide legal advocacy organization in West Virginia. Over the course of her career, she has litigated impact, and individual cases focused on combating predatory and abusive mortgage lending and servicing and otherwise protecting consumer rights, as well as litigation supporting prisoners’ rights, health and disability justice, workers’ rights, and environmental justice. Jennifer clerked on the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
