NCLC was appointed to a Massachusetts working group, to address gas transition issues. The working group made recommendations about the revisions needed to the Gas System Enhancement Plan (GSEP) program, to support Massachusetts climate and emissions goals. NCLC participated as an advocate for consumers, urging the state to make home energy affordable for low-income and moderate-income consumers during the transition away from natural gas and toward building electrification and other non-gas-pipe home energy alternatives.
