This is an NRDC prepared sign on letter to Ranking Member DeLauro and Ranking Member Kaptur asking that they ensure Dept of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy is adequately funded and to protect the office’s efficiency and renewables mandate. Recent DOE actions have been to dilute the office’s focus and programs by putting EERE programs in the Critical Minerals and Energy Innovation office (with tens of billions of dollars in other programming).
