This class action complaint seeks relief for Massachusetts borrowers against predatory mortgage lender Unison Agreement Corp. and its affiliates. The case asserts that the defendants dupe unsuspecting homeowners into their so-called “shared equity option” products which are, in fact, unfair, usurious, and unconscionable mortgage loans that illegally strip home equity from them in violation of Massachusetts consumer protection laws.
