Political robocalls are deeply invasive of privacy and removing the prior express consent requirement is wholly inconsistent with the public interest and the objectives of the TCPA. In these comments, we urge the commission to deny the Waiver Petition before the upcoming November midterm elections and send a strong message that the law protects consumers from intrusive political robocalls.
