Washington Hilton | November 13 – 16, 2025

“The CRLC is an invaluable way to connect with the smartest consumer advocates from around the country and become part of a collaborative community that has a significant impact in the fight for consumer justice.”

“Being able to attend the NCLC conference is especially important for keeping my consumer law knowledge fresh and up to date.”

Welcome to the 2025 CRLC!

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the National Consumer Law Center (NCLC) and the National Association of Consumer Advocates (NACA), we invite you to join advocates from across the nation – private practice attorneys, legal aid lawyers, federal and state government regulators and enforcement officials, policy advocates, and others – in Washington, DC this November for the 34th annual Consumer Rights Litigation Conference (CRLC) and Class Action Symposium. In these challenging times, it is more important than ever to make our collective voices heard in the nation’s capital.

This year’s CRLC will have a robust agenda of 60+ substantive breakout sessions covering every major area of consumer law for advocates of all experience levels. Sessions will address everything from the “ABCs” of handling auto fraud cases, to high-level strategies for dealing with arbitration clauses, to successful methods for challenging algorithmic bias in credit and housing, and much, much more.

Special this year: the day before the start of the full conference, Wednesday, November 12, will provide an opportunity for attorneys new to consumer law to build expertise, and one for those with more experience to raise their voice. The “Introduction to Consumer Law” intensive is designed to help new attorneys lay the groundwork for successful careers in consumer advocacy, and a “Consumer Justice Lobby Day” will give all who want to participate an outlet for urging your elected representative to fight for consumers as hard as you do. Another intensive training following the main conference on “Trial Skills” will help build your capacity to advocate for consumers in the courtroom.  And for the 25th year, the Class Action Symposium will convene a smaller group of experienced class action practitioners to discuss high-level developments and strategies in consumer class action litigation.

All CRLC sessions are led by the nation’s preeminent consumer law experts and practitioners, making the conference more than simply a series of training sessions – it is an opportunity to build new relationships and strengthen existing ones in hallway conversations and at networking events that often serve as sources of mentorship, partnerships, co-counseling arrangements, and more.

In our shared fight for consumer justice, there’s simply no substitute for a strong, tight-knit consumer law community, and the CRLC is where our entire community comes to learn, connect, and get inspired to take on the challenges facing the people, families, and communities we all serve.

We look forward to seeing you in the nation’s capital this fall!
