Pre-conference intensive to be held May 29 – 30, 2024
Join us online this year for an exciting lineup of expert speakers on the most current topics in mortgage servicing and foreclosure prevention. Two beginner sessions provide grounding for advocates new to mortgage servicing work: a foreclosure defense overview and a walk through of the federal mortgage servicing rules. We will delve into federal loss mitigation updates, including FHA’s new Payment Supplement Partial Claim.
Top litigators will walk through zombie second mortgages and credit reporting claims for homeowners. We’ll cap all that off with an exploration of hot topics, including shared equity products, preventing property tax foreclosures on heirs property, and the seismic shifts happening with homeowner’s insurance.
Our pre-conference intensive will provide a deep dive on pre-trial mortgage servicing litigation, from case selection to drafting your complaint to discovery and settlement issues.
“It’s a great place to learn, have your knowledge base reaffirmed, and get connected with like-minded advocates who can become mentors and colleagues.”
