Deepak Gupta

Mr. Gupta is a founding principal of Gupta Wessler PLLC, in Washington, D.C. Previously, he served as Senior Counsel for Litigation and Senior Counsel for Enforcement Strategy at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and was an attorney at Public Citizen Litigation Group, where he founded and directed the Consumer Justice Project. He’s also Adjunct Professor of Law at Georgetown and American universities and a 2018-2019 Wasserstein Public Interest Fellow at Harvard Law School; elected member of the American Law Institute and sits on the boards of directors of the The Impact Fund and the Alliance for Justice and the advisory boards of the University of California’s Civil Justice Research Initiative, the Biden Institute, and the Institute for Consumer Antitrust Studies. Georgetown University Law Center, J.D. Mr. Gupta was appointed to the NCLC board in 2018.
