The undersigned consumer organizations urge the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to ensure that the upcoming proposed rule to implement Section 307 in the Economic Growth, Regulatory Relief, and Consumer Protection Act (Public Law 115-174) regarding Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) loans adheres to the content and purpose of Congress’s directive and respects the limits on the Bureau’s authority under the Truth in Lending Act (TILA) and other federal statutes.
