Act Now: Tell Congress Not to Gut Class Actions

Defend class actions

The U.S. House of Representatives has passed several bills that would destroy class action lawsuits making it easier for lawbreakers to profit from their bad behavior and deny victims their day in court.
Tell the Senate to protect access to the courts to challenge widespread violations of the law!

What do these cases have in common?

  • Wells Fargo created two million fake accounts.
  • Hundreds of employees of Sterling Jewelers have alleged that female employees were routinely groped, demeaned and urged to sexually cater to their bosses to stay employed.
  • Verizon, Sprint and AT&T crammed millions in unauthorized charges onto cell phone bills.
  • Volkswagen falsified emissions readings in 11 million cases.

In all four cases, consumers have attempted to band together in class action lawsuits to force the companies to address the full breadth of their wrongdoing. Tell your senators to vote against bills that target class actions.
