The National Consumer Law Center has a consumer law fellowship position available for an experienced consumer lawyer for 3-5 months in our Boston or Washington office. Applicants must have a law degree, excellent writing and research skills, and at least two years of litigation, legal services, or consumer law experience. Preference may be given for experience in legal services, consumer law, or bankruptcy law.
The fellow's responsibilities may include updating NCLC’s consumer law manuals, writing for NCLC's newsletters, independent research and analysis, providing case analysis to consumer lawyers, organizing or providing lawyer training, and possibly other special projects.
Salary is competitive with other public interest organizations and on NCLC scale that accounts for legal experience. NCLC provides a comprehensive benefits package.
