Scholarships: Partial scholarships may be available for legal aid, assistant attorneys general, and private attorneys. Applicants were due by May 29th.

Hotel information:  L'Enfant Plaza Hotel discounted rooms are sold out!  See below for overflow options.  Special conference room rate of $169 single and double occupancy on a first come basis until Monday, June 25th, when the rate may increase. Overflow Hotel Options:

One hotel,  Harrington Hotel is around the same price as the L’Enfant but you do need to take the Metro or a Taxi to get there as it’s about one mile away on 436 11th Street NW.  It is 1 ½ blocks from the Metro station.  Rates: $169 Double $159 King.  To make a reservation call Judy directly at 888 424-8532.

Another hotel, the Holiday Inn Capitol is more expensive but it is only a few walkable blocks away from the L’Enfant. Hotel Accommodations are being held at the Holiday Inn Capitol (550 C Street, SW Washington, DC 20024) for the National Consumer Law Center – Mortgage Conference for check in beginning Sunday, July 15, 2012, check out Thursday, July 19, 2012. Rate is $219.00 per night. This rate does not include DC sales tax, currently 14.5%. You may begin booking reservations directly on line by clicking on the weblink below. CLE Credits: Continuing Legal Education credit may be available from certain states. Actual CLE credit varies by state and cannot be guaranteed by NCLC (up to 13.6 hours may be available in 60-minute states and up to 16.3 hours in 50-minute states). Transportation and Directions: Take Metro to/from Reagan National Airport to (4 Metro stops away) or the Amtrak train station (4 Metro stops away). Dulles International Airport is accessible by Metrorail or Metrobus directly from L'Enfant Plaza Hotel. Baltimore-Washington Airport is accessible by Amtrak or commuter train. Shuttles and taxis are available at the three major airports. The hotel is accessible by three Metro Lines – Yellow, Blue, and Orange.
