This intensive will provide an in-depth review of the privately enforceable mortgage servicing regulations under RESPA and TILA that went into effect on January 10, 2014. Learn about new tools to respond to common servicing problems. Topics will include:

  • Early intervention and continuity of contact requirements
  • Loss mitigation procedures (including dual tracking protections)
  • Notices of error and requests for information (the QWR procedure under RESPA has been completely changed)
  • Requests for identity of mortgage owner
  • Requests for payoff statements
  • Force-placed insurance requirements

  • Payment change notices
  • Private remedies under RESPA and TILA
  • Strategies for identifying and proving damages

Hotel Information

Hotel reservation: Special Conference hotel room rate of $125 per night until Friday, May 30th. Reservations must be canceled 48 hours prior to arrival to avoid a penalty fee equivalent to one night room and tax.

Transportation Options

Self-Parking is $12/day at the hotel. From the DFW Airport taxis are estimated at $45 each way and Super Shuttle is $18 each way. From the DAL Airport taxis are estimated at $30 each way and Super Shuttle is $20 each way. There is also a Greyhound and Amtrack Station in Dallas.
