Lauren Mahoney joined NCLC in August 2009. Lauren works on various development activities including events, fundraising, grants and sponsorships. Lauren co-coordinates NCLC's largest annual conference, the Consumer Rights Litigation Conference. Prior to joining NCLC, Lauren worked as a shelter advocate and counselor for survivors of domestic violence and in fundraising and event planning for a variety of nonprofits. She is a Certified Event Planner (CEP) and received her B.A. from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst (Summa Cum Laude), where she won numerous awards for her committment to social and economic justice. Lauren sits on the Board of the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's ResearchYoung Professionals of Boston and serves as Event Chair.
