Karla Armenoff assists with grant writing, research, and other development activities at NCLC. Prior to joining NCLC in 2012, she worked with foundation, corporate and government funders through her roles as Executive Director of Watertown Community Housing, Inc. and a founding board member of the Southwest Boston Community Development Corporation. Karla also served as a legislative aide for U.S. Congressman Luis V. Gutierrez and former Massachusetts State Representative Jarrett T. Barrios, both for whom she focused on consumer issues such as fair access to credit, the Community Reinvestment Act and affordable housing development and preservation. Karla earned her B.A. from Indiana University and M.S. from the University of Massachusetts, Boston.
