Jessica Hiemenz joined NCLC in 2009 to manage the webinar, in-person, and conference trainings NCLC participates in around the country. Her responsibilities includes managing the logistics, marketing/outreach, and billing for NCLC's 2-3 national conferences: Consumer Rights Litigation Conference, Fair Debt Collection Practices Training Conference, and the Summer Mortgage Conference. She also oversees the in-person training logistics, grant billing, and production of materials. NCLC hosts almost 30 webinars a year, that Jessica manages, from soliciting speakers and topics, to taking care of all the logistics, outreach, and production, and lastly the grant reporting.
She also serves as an active member in the National Legal Resource Center for the Administration for Community Living grant. In addition to the trainings, Jessica serves as NCLC's Event Planner for local and off-site events; as well as an active member on NCLC's Social Media Committee, overseeing NCLC's role on Facebook and Twitter. Prior to NCLC, Jessica worked for the largest and oldest fair trade coffee company Equal Exchange in their interfaith department. She holds a B.S. in Environmental Policy and Planning from Virginia Tech and a M.S. in Community Economic Development from Southern New Hampshire University where she specialized in nonprofit management and credit unions and cooperatives.
