Jessica Hiemenz, Development Events and Training Coordinator

Jessica Hiemenz joined NCLC in this new position to oversee the webinar and in-person trainings NCLC does around the country. Her responsibilities include: coordinating webinar trainings, being the liaison between the local sponsoring group and the advocates, ensuring all grant criteria is followed, and collecting information for the grant reports.  She also serves as an active member in the National Legal Resource Center for the Administration on Aging grant.  In addition to trainings, she coordinates our Consumer Rights Litigation Conference and the Fair Debt Conference and serves as NCLC’s event planner.  Prior to NCLC, Jessica worked for the largest and oldest fair trade coffee company Equal Exchange in their interfaith department.  She holds a B.S. in Environmental Policy and Planning from Virginia Tech and a M.S. in Community Economic Development from Southern New Hampshire University where she specialized in nonprofit management and credit unions and cooperatives.
