David Seligman is a staff attorney at the National Consumer Law Center whose focus includes forced arbitration, alternative payment systems, and auto finance. Previously, he was a Harvard Law School Irving Kaufman Fellow at NCLC. David served as a law clerk for Judges Robert D. Sack and Susan L. Carney of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and Judge Patti B. Saris of the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. He has worked for Make the Road New York and a union-side labor law firm in San Francisco. Before law school, he was a New York City Urban Fellow in the New York City Police Department. David is a graduate of the Harvard Law School.
